The kiddies continue to especially love building with blocks and Lego, playing "house" in the dramatic play area, playing with playdough and digging through the sensory bins.
We talked lots this week about how we are all unique and special and that God has given us all different gifts and talents. We read the book "Yes We Can" to help teach this concept.
All our other books this week were Autumn themed. The kiddies are showing an interest in pumpkins so we have begun a mini pumpkin inquiry.
I am hoping to open up some pumpkins next friday and letting the kids scoop out the seeds. If anyone is interested in helping with this activity please let me know! The office requires a police check on record.
I have sent home a note about Phonemic Awareness Time. Please note your child's day for sharing.
This week our letter focus will be S.
I hope everyone has a spectacular weekend... looks like it's going to be a nice one!
