Today was our first full day! We are so proud of how well all our friends did. Everyone followed our number one job which is Show God’s Love.
We spent the day exploring the classroom toys, drawing our self portraits and writing our names. We even began creating anchor charts for colours and the months of the year (which will become our birthday chart).
Unfortunately with all the rain today we were unable to get outdoors. We participated in some movement games, songs and dances to help shake our sillies out.
With the rain today you could also see that dismissal was busy and hectic. We cannot stress enough that your child’s safety is our number one priority. All children from our class must line up inside the gate and then be dismissed one at a time once we have connected with you. Especially right now when the students are just learning the routines we need to keep this as organized and smooth as possible. It will get smoother as the weeks go on... we promise! Thank you for your continued support with this matter!
We look forward to Tuesday... hopefully no more rain and we can get outdoors!
