Good morning families!
We had a wonderful (and busy) first few days back in Kinderland!
In the mornings we settled in by introducing ourselves, singing circle songs and reviewing some of our class routines and rules. Then it was time to go off and play and explore! New friendships have begun to develop... its a beautiful thing to watch!
LEGO, the home centre and playdough were especially popular centres!
We can’t wait to post and share pictures. Hopefully by next week we receive everyone’s photo consent form and can start doing so!
Once everyone had snack number one we went outdoors to play and explore. Sidewalk chalk and the sandbox were a favourite.
Once we came inside we read a story, reviewed lunch routines and enjoyed lunch with our new pals!
You can ask your child which story they listened to and what they liked about it (SK friends listened to both!)
The afternoon was spent playing outdoors again, we had a tour of the school and some more indoor play!
The next few weeks will be all about getting to know one another, the routines and transitions of the classroom and developing a love for school!
We have a family tree up in the classroom. We ask that each child brings in a family picture that can be posted on the tree. It’s a nice place for them to go to when they are missing home and need to see their family. ❤️
We are looking forward to a wonderful full week ahead with all our friends.
