Welcome families!
We are so excited to begin the 2018/2019 kindergarten year! It is going to be an exciting one... filled with lots of learning through inquiry and play!
We look forward to meeting everyone this week and wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves!
Welcome! My name is Stefani Linse. I am the classroom teacher (OCT). I am going into my 12th teaching year and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Teaching is truly a vocation for me. Nothing makes me happier than teaching (and learning from) children. Most of my teaching career has been spent in Grade Three. Last year I made the switch to Kindergarten and I couldn’t be happier! It has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever.
I have three young children of my own. Ashleigh is 7, Emma is 4 and Adam is 2. As a family we enjoy going to the cottage, visiting parks and swimming. At home, we can often be found cooking and baking together or snuggling up with a good book!
I can’t wait to meet our new Year One (and the new Year Two) friends and am eager to see the returning Year Two kiddies who I bet have grown up more than I can imagine in a short two months!
Looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!
Hello! My name is Laura Coulson. I started my journey as an ECE 9 years ago. I am very excited to be starting at St. Matthew school this year! I am coming from St. Andrew school where I was also an ECE in a Kindergarten classroom.
I am a passionate soccer player and love to travel. Some of my travel highlights have been snowboarding in BC, visiting Portugal and just this summer...travelling to Thailand!
I am an animal lover and have two pups of my own named Bronte and Diesel! During my spare time I love spending time with my friends and family... especially at the cottage!
Most of all I love my job! I adore working with children and their families. I look forward to meeting everyone soon and becoming your partner in education. ❤️
