Our first week back from March Break was a great one. Everyone seemed well rested and eager to get back into the swing of things!
We spent the week doing lots of letter and letter sound review as we didn’t have a letter of the week.
We did journal writing about March Break. It sounds like everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends!
We began some Spring / Easter themed learning centres.
We have been patterning lots, learning about subtraction and using a hundreds chart to explore number order and patterns in numbers.
We put together the Lenten Kits this week too. Thank you to everyone’s generosity. These kits will surely put smiles to the faces of those in need.
This week we are continuing with our Lenten giving by collecting food for the food drive. There is especially a need for canned tuna, cereal and packaged snacks.
Today is Palm Sunday. We will continue learning about Lent this week with a focus on Holy Week.
